Creative Leicestershire

Leicestershire has a thriving creative community and Creative Shire is a programme set up by the Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Arts Partnership to provide support and promotion. The Partnership consists of all 10 local authorities in the area and Arts Council England, East Midlands.

The programme focuses on the creative economy and aims:

To increase investment, employment and improve access to employment within the contemporary arts creative industries sector in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
To support contemporary arts based creative industries to work effectively across a range of economic and social agendas.
